Moore Benefits Solutions was founded in April of 2019 with the goal of providing customized HR and Benefits consulting services to clients of all sizes and types, and do it in a cost-effective manner.

When the COVID-19 Pandemic hit and created more complexity, companies realized more than ever the importance of properly managing an employee workforce. Companies of all sizes struggled to adjust to new business norms, regulations and a remote workforce, all while facing tighter budgets. As regulations were changing daily and new HR challenges were arising, MBS was there to help. And we still are.

Every company is unique, and here at MBS we pride ourselves in taking the time to listen to your company’s needs and finding your best fit.  We understand that many HR issues are time sensitive and make ourselves available to respond to our clients’ needs with the highest level of customer service.

About June

Meet the Owner

June Moore is an HR Consultant with nearly 25 years of experience in the HR field. In 2019, she founded Moore Benefits Solutions, LLC, which allowed her to combine her entrepreneurial spirit with her passion for helping clients solve their unique HR challenges. June ensures her clients have solid foundational HR practices and procedures in place and provides guidance on handling employee related issues that arise. She has expertise in all operational areas of HR, with a focus on the following: Health and Welfare Benefits Administration, Leave of Absence Program Administration, Employee Handbooks, HR policy development, Compliance with Federal and State Employment Laws, Employee Relations and mandated employee training. June has built her reputation on providing high-touch customer service and addressing sensitive employee situations with urgency, while mitigating risk for the employer.

Prior to founding Moore Benefits Solutions, June was in a leadership role at Conifer Realty, overseeing Employee Benefits, Leave Management and Recruiting. She was also responsible for managing the Health and Welfare Benefits budget. Before joining Conifer, June managed the Benefits team at Monro Muffler Brake. Her team handled all Benefits and Leave Administration for its approximately nine thousand employees. During her time at Monro, June was able to transition the annual benefits open enrollment from a manual paper process to online. She also implemented and streamlined multiple Monro HR processes and procedures, including a company-wide Leave of Absence process. June was a key member of the Acquisition team and involved in numerous acquisitions while at Monro. June spent the earlier part of her career working for two of Rochester’s largest employers, Paychex and The University of Rochester/Strong Memorial Hospital. In both organizations, she was the main point of contact and subject matter expert for Medical and Pharmacy Benefits.

June earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from SUNY Geneseo, with a concentration in Human Resources. She also founded the Geneseo SHRM student chapter.  June has remained connected to SUNY Geneseo and in January of 2023, started as an Adjunct Professor teaching an HR course for the School of Business.

On a more personal note...

June is a New Yorker through and through. She was born in Queens, NY, grew up on the north shore of Long Island in Northport, and has worked her entire career in the Rochester area.  When not working, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and is active in her children’s volleyball and wrestling booster programs.
